All of the animals in my sculptures died legally. Some, like the humans, died from natural causes. Others, like the non-humans, were killed inside government-licensed slaughterhouses. But a lot of other animals are legally killed outside of abattoirs by pest-controllers and recreational hunters. I personlly have seen veterinarians legally kill unwanted pets.

By mixing this knowledge with performance art, I explored a place somewhere between public murder and private massacre.
